Aubrey was born at Camp Dragonhead, daughter of two soldiers of the House Fortemps. She reveres Halone as any good, pious Ishgardian.

She trained in the ways of soldiery, with both shield and sword. She was 10 when the events of the fall of Dalamud permanently scarred her homeland. Long years followed wherein Imperial presence and draconic attacks along with constant snow and freezing temperatures became ordinary for the Coerthas inhabitants.

Aubrey, being herself a soldier, accomplished her duties for the House she and her parents worked for, until she realized that a life of adventures was awaiting her out of the snowy limits of her homeland. Yet, she stayed and worked, constantly in contact with the adventurers coming through the camp where she was born, and lived ever since.

Her accomplishments include a few things, such as killing her first dragon at age 13, more by sheer luck than any actual fight, and participating in the first battle of the Steps of Faith. She could be easily found among the bulk of soldiers sent by House Fortemps.

As the war grew to an end, she met adventurers, whom she rejoined, among them a money-craving lalafell, a wandering mischievous Dark Knight, a White Mage also being a monk, and a silent Dragoon.

She left the Coerthas and took the Blackshroud road, experiencing rain for the first time in years as it was pouring over the lands. After that, she landed in Ul'Dah where she had a hard time living off her meager economies. She started earning a living being mostly a mercenary and a hunter along with her new comrades and friends.

Being neither a Scion nor posessing the Echo, she joined the Flames for a while, accomplishing minor tasks.

Along her travels, she met Octavel Zeirchele, an Ishgardian of noble birth, and married him.

She didn't stay far from her homeland for long though, and went quickly back there as soon as she heard word about problems happenning there. She is currently working as a messenger, using her knowledge of both Ishgard and what she learned during her adventuring days. She can mostly be seen around Ishgard and Ul'Dah, though encountering her everywhere is still highly possible, as her work brings her to the most unexpected places.

RANDOM POINTS

  • She's round 5'3, red haired, brown eyed. Right handed.
  • Aub's been cultivating her habit of being friendly and smiles to almost everybody. Being actually 18, and though she's travelled quite a bit, she's still mostly unaware and/or obviously lost in the midst of political and sentimental talks, though she finds her marks with matters of strategy, swordfighting, some political topics (limited to Ishgard and some Uldahn stuff she barely understands). She can be gullible at times, and a tad short-tempered.
  • Although she's a paladin by trade, she's also skilled as a lancer and a monk. She knows her stuff in field-healing too. (a barbaric way of saying that she's a White Mage that screams a lot and doesn't know what's aether.)
  • Though she tries her best to behave, she still swears a lot, around anybody.
  • Her husband disappeared and is still currently considered as working on various missions for his House, vassel of House Durendaire.
  • She's got a strong faith in Halone, that's been badly hit by the recent events in Ishgard. She's still very much strying to find a way to arrange things. What happened in the Vault is, likewise, something that deeply marked her.
