"Ne'er land consumes sun can sea bare moons.
Heavens spew crimson flame, hells seep black dooms.
Stray seeds quicken in Ashes grey embrace.
Valiant blades forged under the Twelve's good grace."

-Seventh Verse of the Divine Chronicles
Mezaya Thousand Eyes.

Characters:
  • Pink = Ul'teah Frostheart
  • Teal = Zahck'ra Frostheart
  • Red = Az'eski (Ul'eski)
  • Green = Ahri
  • White = Terca Valesti

It is 3 years before the present at the Encampent of the Ul clan.

The camp stood silent under the stars which illuminated the skies, like diamonds, oh so valuable to those under them as they wish away their futures, and dream for their ideal tomorrow, things were as normal within the Ul' encampment, most of it's residents were sleeping waiting for the beloved light of day brought by Azeyma, the keeper of the sun, who was worshipped or favourited by many Seekers of the sun. Unlike Keepers of the Moon, these Miqo'te preferred the light of day and were Conjurers who cultivated many crops, albeit harvest witches/wizards. on a rock just outside the camp sat a male Miqo'te, pink long hair and glowing blue eyes which stared at the stars above him as he hugged his knees, daydreaming (or nightdreaming perhaps in this case!).

"Finally I fit in… finally I can do something right? I'll see, but it hurts to heal them, but dad believes in me, I have to do it.." The boy said to himself as he sighed his hearts feelings into the night wind "I will make him proud, and maybe one day I'll finally find you.. I'll be your Ul'teah.. I'll take on your last name, I won't need to be the Nuhn.."

Ul'teah's long pink hair hid his eyes, which slightly teared up with his soft smile buried into his knees, sighing slowly again, only recently were his powers discovered, but this was no ordinary conjury, he used his own Aether to heal those who were harmed, and wasn't able to cultivate crops only make them wilt, so normally he was kept back at the camp and went through rough training, but now the clan see his gift is different they now make him use it to heal those who are injured from hunting, and also passers by who pay coin for such service of the pink haired boy.

The Night Sky was dyed orange by the torches which riddeled the settlements, as the night was still young, Ul'dah was known to be nearby, there were sometimes, people who passed through and startled the night watch, or were known to trade at this hour, it just depended.

Zahck'ra preferred his nights, Spending most nights walking Thanalan. However this night was different. Instead of walking without any clue or direction, he had intent hearing about the "Pink haired boy" and his "gift" Zahck'ra wanted to see what it was all about. The cold wing blowing though the air his robe moving to the song of the wind.

"Hmmmm…..That light…" He thought to himself. "could that be the cap the boy was staying?" Zahck'ra was out with intent of finding this boy to find him, to ask him. what made him so special.

There it was the shadow of a boy sat on the Cliff side, crouched down looking towards the stars. Zahck'ra hunkered down, hearing the stories of the bandits…..He didn't want to alert them.

Sneaking up from behind the boy sat on the Rock. Zahck'ra lifted his hand up to tap on his shoulder. "Pssst" he muttered……"Hey! Kid!" I whispered loudly pulling the pink haired boys tail…waiting for a reaction

"KYEEEP!…." Ul'teah Falls off of the rock, backwards, landing infront of the boy behind him, his eyes clenched in pain, he was quite tired, his eyes were dark from working hard that day using his powers "Mmmm… w-what do you want-nnngh.." He said as he lay on the plain nearly lifeless as he yawned while groaning from the pain caused from the fall

The breeze blew gently still through the plains, the two stared at each other, the stranger seemed familliar with the night, he wasn't tired, he seemed at home… how odd… his pupils were different also, and fangs could be seen. This wasn't a seeker of the Sun.

"I was expecting you to….be different" Zahck'ra healed out his hand, holding out his huge black gauntlet hands to help the Pink haired by up oh is feet. "Shhh….Is it safe for me hear?" Looks at the pink haired by then glances at the camp,

"I have herd the stories of you're…gift"
Zahck'ra smiling a wolfish grin towards the boy "I want to know more."

"H-huh? Whaddya mean…? Different?"Ul' gets up and brushes himself of before shaking his tail to get the dirt off of it, taking a deep breathMy gift? Oh.. my father is happy with me, yes, the clan has been able to achieve a lot more and for once I've been helpful, and not to worry, they won't see you here, this is my spot, I'm not supposed to be out at this time.. so… yeah.."

Ul', ears twitch as he listens to the mysterious stranger, he didn't seem hostile, though his appearance was quite unsettling, ul'teah tilted his head swaying his arms as he stood their coy, his furlined boots and halfrobe making him look snug, as began to show a gentle smile.

"I'll tell you how I do it, if you tell me your name, you can trust me, All i can do is heal, I don't have many friends, n-not.. even in the camp but.." Ul' giggles softly, closing his eyes pausing before continuing to talk again as he folds his arms, his hair complimenting the pale colours of the night. "You look… different too, so maybe you can teach me somethings.. a-and spend time together?"

Ul' was always brash with strangers, too easy to trust, but normally lost interest in those he tried to talk to quickly, it got him into diffucult situations, but lady luck always answered and saw him safely to the camp despite his adventures everytime. He continues to smile softly at the stranger, lowering his head to try and see under the hood of the boys cloak, curious.

Zahck'ra pulled down his hood so he could see the boy more clearly. revealing his short white and blue hair to him. His skin unusably pale. "You trust to easy boy….but something just feels right" Zahckr'ra looked up at the moon, still with his wolf like grin his teeth catching the moonlight for a second.

"I guess you could all me different…but I prefer Zahck'ra. Just Zahck'ra." his eyes then glance back down at the pink haired boy stood before of him. tapping his boot on the dusty planes of Thanalan. "And you are?" He snickered Zahck'ra allready knew the answer it was more a test for the boy.

The star light still filing the sky's of Eroza. It would be hard not to notice the full moon in the sky at this time Zahck'ra breathed out waiting for his response

"Trust is hard to come by here… at least for the residents of Ul'dah, you should know that… I guess my gift is fortunate, many trust me with their life recently due to my gift, I don't think it's much to do with why I trust others however.. I think I'm just looking for answers." Ul's eyes widen as he realises he forgot to tell Zahck'ra his name, he panics slightly, raising his arms. Oh by the Twelve, I'm s-sorry! How rude of me, my name is Ul'teah Tia, I'm.of the Drake Viper clan, my gift drains upon my Aether I believe, my very lifeforce.. but, I don't know how to control it, but it helps others and it makes me… me feel usful, so I do it for them."

Ul'teah appears to be still holding the Miqo'tes Gauntlet, and it tightens as he talks behind his reasoning behind using his abilities, before blushing and realising what he was doing, gasping.

"I-I'm s-s.. Sorry!" Ul' backs off attempting to let go of the gauntlet his back up against the rock "U-uhm… I've not really related much to others since my mother dissappeared, all I have left is this locket, It's sealed by Aether, i can't seem to open it, but one day, I'd like to, I think she hid a message in it, I also have a tome in the settlement left by her full of shapes, It's never made sense.."

lowers his head and goes quiet, nothing but the wind whistling through the grassy dusty plains can be heard, as he sighs into the wind, his hair hiding his pale face.

(If you want a theme to the situation! XD)

"Ahaha! Don't be sorry Ul…." He pauses realizing he already feel comfortable with the Pink hair'd boy. "Y-you can still hold my hand if you like? You feel kinda cold…" Zahck'ra looks at the boy with a flirting grin on his face, his teeth showing.

"you're gift sounds, interesting..I'd like to spend more time with you….T-to learn more about your gift! Ahehe…." Zahck'ra pauses his pale skin going red, he pulls his hood up to hide the fact….Its not often he spends time with others….let alone actually like others…..

Blinks and looks his eyes standing out like sapphires, as they began to glisten slightly looking away from Zahck, he shakes his head slowly. Ul' takes a deep breath and smiles softly holding his hand.

"Why don't we go to Ul'dah…? The cities are quiet at this time, the nights still young also, you can show me where you came from, you got a home? It's nice to see the world through someone elses e-eyes.. reaches for the gauntlet, and grins while closing his eyes and holding Zahck'ras hand. Lead they way Zahck.. we can go around the camp to get there quickly I guess then again you probably already know your way t-there.. ahehe.."

The moon shined bright in the sky as the stars blessed those under it, the night was still young and Ul'dah pierced the skies with it's radiance in the background, the capital of Thanalan, where all the traders went.

Zahck'ra looks up to Ul and gives of his usual wolf grin smiling. "Yeah…I know the way…but is it safe for you to leave the camp?" Zahcks face light by the fire of the cap in the distance. "I wouldn't want you to get in trouble, mind my home isn't to much to look at….It gets me by."

Zahck points to the city in the distance I study in the Thamatage guild, I Kinda live in the dorms at the moment." he puts his head down, clearly not to happy about his home but Zahck was intent on study. He wanted to become something more….dark.

"If we are leaving do you need to get anything first…I can wait" Zahck hunkers down again looking over the city the lights shining bright
