The dark skies, lit with heavenly orbs as a Lacrima shined it's light to be reflected off the shimmering seas near Limsa's shipyard. The sound of the busy markets glowing in the distance an bustling quietly with life, A pink haired male sat at the end of a empty dock, singing a lullaby to himself as the cold sea air brushed his skin, he would close his eyes and sigh, his fluffy pink tail behind him tapping the dock with a quiet thud in a constant rhythm.

The soft sounds of rustling cloth resonated through the vicinity as a tall figure, clad in dark hooded robes sat himself down next to the miqo'te on the empty dock, he stayed silent as he merely kept on staring at the skies, his hood covering most of his features, yet on occasion as the air brushed against his face, a lock of dark, but yet indiscernable colour, hair softly sweeped past the confines of his hood. He lifted a hand, revealing pale skin.

The figure chuckled to himself before turning his face, still hooded, towards the miqo'te, his silvery eyes seemed luminous in the darkness of his hood, the limbal rings of the same colour giving them an ethereal feel.

"My, such a pleasant lullaby."

His words were soft and calm, scales glinting in the light of the stars as he spoke.

The miqo'tes icy orbs would gently glow through his pink locks, shifting toward the robed figures direction, unable to see the figures face didn't unsettle him, the soft and calm voice accompanying it was soothing complimenting the quiet night and the oceans gentle melody. His eyes would notice the scales, and his lips would part, preparing to reply.

"Aye… quite,*pauses momentarily* Yer a new face, no one usually comes down these parts, fearful o' the sisters o' Edelweiss an' the rumors that surround them."

He sighs dreamily looking out to the stars reflections within the water, like a galaxy never ending before them, ever changing just at their feet, a soft smile, a fang nibbling at his own lower lip with his jaw rested on his palm which was rested upon his crossed legs thigh.

The figure chuckles upon hearing the other's words, silvery orbs closing for a few seconds as he responds in a slightly amused tone.

"I come and go as I please, you could call me whimsical by nature."

He lowered his hood, revealing long loose hair, it had a soft sheen to it as the dark colour made contact with the light of the stars. He let out a soft breath as he followed the other's cue and stared into the reflections within the waters.

"The beauty of nature is something that never fails to amaze me, I know someone who loves the night sky more than most, the moon, specifically."

A passing breeze made a few locks of hair waft around his face as he continued to speak, the amusement having vanished only to be replaced with a tranquil feel.

"This person's actions had rubbed off on me though, for I share his fascination of celestial objects these days. They're comforting, wouldn't you agree? They'll always be there, no matter where you'd be in the world, the moon would always be there to watch over you."

On the lower levels of the dock, shrouded by both evening and cloak, two figures sit with their bare feet dangling in the water. Both elezen, judging by the soft points of their ears, but one is much older than the other. Mother and son, perhaps, or older sister and baby brother. The younger boy looks no more than seven or eight years old and is scantily dressed for the temperature. In just shorts and a loose fitting vest, he could be a native of the area if it weren't for his rich, dark skin and red hair. Demont almost blends into the night itself.

His caretaker, though, is decked out for war. A tall woman that has her hair scraped back into a bun, she's every bit imposing as she possibly can be, especially clad in armour as she is. Next to them lies a battered leather rucksack and a greatsword, hidden away in its sheathe.

They talk in lowered voices, though suddenly the child bursts out into fits of carefree laughter, clutching at his stomach. His caretaker snickers to herself and lightly pats him on the back with a gauntleted hand.

"Shh, m'dear, you'd not want the Yellowjacket folk oustin' us from here, would you?"

The lad recovers, hiding a grin to himself as he shuffles up to the woman's side. She drapes an arm around his shoulders. He stifles a soft snicker and replies in a stage whisper.

"They speak all posh n' in riddles, reminds me of Dad, n' that face he'd pull. Y'know, when you'd point it out."

Demont's tone peeters out however, turning lower and taking on an sombre quality. A stark contrast to his laughter just moments ago. "I miss 'im."

Would smile slowly, his ears twitching, and his eyes following the lights in the sky as the Auri male tells him about his admirations, he would purr softly to himself, content as he watched them.

"Aheh… you are also remindin' me of someone who I spoke to often before the other day, now off to study other magicks in Thanlan, if you are a fan of the night sky, you should go there, it really is crystal clear."

The pink haired miqo'te would observe the auri's features and his eyes would widen then squint for a moment. he resume his soft smiling afterward.

"I wonder… who is this person whose actions.. rubbed off on ya?"
